Our machine translation platform uses a hybrid approach capable of combining different technologies according to the language pair, the domain and the needs of each organisation. We integrate specialised neural engines, typically based on encoder-decoder or sequence-to-sequence architectures, together with language models (LLMs) and rule-based systems, selecting in each case the most suitable combination to optimise quality, consistency and performance.
What sets us apart is our ability to orchestrate automatic processing workflows, linking different modules and language services—such as named entity recognition (NER), anonymisation, validation or different translation models—to build processes tailored to each scenario and level of specialisation.
We also develop and contribute to the Apertium open-source ecosystem, in collaboration with universities, the community and public institutions.

Vera allows us to compare models using automatic metrics and human evaluation. This way we ensure that every translation solution truly adapts to the needs of each client.

Automatic and human post-editing
At imaxin, we develop automatic post-editing systems that review and improve translations in real time. In addition, we integrate our own CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tool to facilitate the editing and reviewing of documents while preserving their original format.
When the level of criticality requires it, we also offer specialised human review, coordinated with our localisation and professional translation services.
